Demonstrating Our Expertise

Smart Freeway - Mitchell Southbound (Hester Avenue to Vincent Street)

Recently certified under the IS v2.1 Essentials Rating framework, our Perspektiv Sustainability Advisor secondment delivered and managed this project. Spanning establishment to completion, it focused on the design and construction of infrastructure assets valued under $100 million. Highlights include:

  • Conducting resource and energy modelling using our ISC Aligned LCA Tool.

  • Guiding multiple technical manual iterations (three during IFA).

  • Active participation in ISC feedback loops, including feedback registers, monthly meetings, and workshops.

  • Adjustments to the Materiality Assessment structure to meet evolving requirements.

  • Achieving a Bronze IS Essentials Design Rating with a design score of 27.7.

Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA)

Certified in April 2024, this IS v2.1 Design & As-Built Rating project achieved its Design Rating through the dedicated efforts of our Perspektiv secondment. Key contributions included delivering and managing the project from establishment to the Design Rating achievement. This involved resource, energy, water, and waste modelling using our proprietary ISC Aligned Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Tool.

North West Transmission Developments

Working closely with TasNetworks, we provided integrated support to develop strategies and deliver IS V2.1 ratings support. Perspektiv's support included completing Materiality Assessments, and key IS Rating Credit tasks while conducting comprehensive Risk and Opportunity assessments. We also identified additional sustainability objectives to bolster IS ratings and executed resource, energy, water, and waste modelling using our proprietary ISC Aligned LCA Tool. We also ensured contractor information aligned with sustainability objectives and IS targets.

Marinus Link

Partnering with the Marinus team, we achieved remarkable outcomes by crafting an IS V2.1 Rating Strategy and delivering ratings support. We led material assessments, risk and opportunity assessments, and collaborations on additional sustainability objectives and proposals. Key achievements included developing and delivering an Emissions Reduction Strategy and annualized Emissions Model. Moreover, we ensured that contractor data adhered to the Marinus sustainability framework and IS targets.

METRONET

As a trusted partner for METRONET, we managed Concept Design sustainability requirements under the IS V2.0 and V2.1 framework, through to Delivery Agency Handover. We developed a robust program-level reporting framework and coordinated quarterly reports, consolidating them into Program-Level Reports for inter-agency executive review.

Westport

Embedded within the Planning Team, we played a pivotal role in taking the IS V2.1 Planning rating from inception to completion. Our work involved leading technical efforts to implement the Resource Efficiency Strategy, Climate Change Adaptation Plan, Net Zero Strategy, and SQP Annual Report Assurance. Our team also worked to enhance stakeholder engagement for sustainability strategy development.
