Perspektiv EOY Celebrations - 2021

Updated: May 11, 2023

2021 has been a year like no other, whilst the news has been dominated by Covid, we have been distracting ourselves by going flat-out growing our business, servicing our clients, and having a good time with our colleagues … Finding a Better Way.

Though challenging at times, the year brought us a number of great successes; from growing our team of ten to a team of twenty, adding several accreditations and memberships to our already impressive portfolio, and to making some solid progress towards our sustainability policy goals.

As it was a big year for us in many ways, we felt it was important to take the time to celebrate all our achievements. Across our three main offices in Perth, Sydney and Hobart, we enjoyed a day or two out of the office to reconnect with nature, spend some quality time together and to appreciate some good food.

In Hobart the team had a cultural day out to the Mona Museum. They spent the day admiring rather unique sculptures and indulging in some contemporary French food at the museums famous Source Restaurant. They ended the day in style, sipping champagne on the ferry ride home.

They also took a day off to connect with the local land, hiking up to Kunyanyi (a mountain in the southeast of Tasmania and the summit of the Wellington Range).

The team in Perth spent the day cycling around Rottnest Island, snorkelling and surfing and then headed to Pinky's bar & restaurant for a delicious lunch (and one too many espresso martinis).

Sound on for this one!

They also spent a day hiking around the Serpentine National Park, ending the hike with a refreshing swim in the falls.

Finally, one of our newest team members Jamie Brown drove from her home in Melbourne up to the Sydney office to meet the team for the first time. They all went for a lovely trek from Taronga Zoo to Chowder Bay followed by lunch with a view and fresh oysters before heading home to freshen up for their Christmas dinner at the Rockpool Bar and Grill.

We are now all looking forward to a break and some summer fun, and we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2022. We are excited for what the new year might bring, and will be ready to rip into our Carbon & Lifecycle services, our ESG services, and Ratings & Governance services (amongst other things) when we return refreshed and rejuvenated.
